Testing Astroflowguard on our main connection tonight 9/8/04

We have reconfigured our bandwidth control server to perform some other interesting services like statefull packet inspection and intrusion detection (IDS). We will be inserting the server between our core switches and our gateway routers tonight. We will be monitoring the traffic through the system to evaluate if this server would provide a better quality and cleaner internet connection.

We plan to start testing at around 10:00 PM PST and continue for about 24 hours if no major issues arrise.

The test should be transparent other than a few seconds when we switch it on and/or off. Please report any issues to support@lewiscounty.com
