SERVICE NOTICE: Upgrading core router tonight

We will be replacing our core router tonight at midnight, Wed, Jan, 27th 2010. There will be the possibility of some service disruptions during this upgrade. We hope to have the upgrade completed by 1:00 AM.

After a couple tough hours we finally have everything back up. Some of our interface cards are not compatible with the new router. I'll have to order some new cards and try again another day.

It's about 4:30 AM. Everything has been running well. We are now using IP CEF switching and the router is much happier. I'll run in this configuration for a few days while I plan another upgrade attempt.
