Hi Everyone,

At just before 10:00 PM our fiber connection to Seattle was cut due to storm damage. A service ticket has been opened and I am awaiting more information. This outage is affecting many services, including DSL, dialup, wireless, and hosting. This also appears to be affecting local phone services.

In addition, about 15 minutes after the fiber went down the power in the area also went down. Morton is currently dark. We are running on backup generator awaiting the services to be restored.

As normal I will post updates to the BBS here.

The power came up briefly around 12:30 AM. As of now, about 2:00 AM we are back on generator. I just spoke with the NOC and the aggregated v-lan bundles are still down, the issue appears to be in Asford. A technician has been dissipated to the location. No other information is available at this time.

At just before 3:00 PM PST fiber optic service was restored. All services should now be up and working.
