SERVICE NOTICE: Currently running on backup power

High winds and heavy rain have caused power outages in the Packwood, Randle, Morton, and Mossyrock service areas. Power was lost at about 3:15 PM PST here in Morton. We are currently running on backup generator. All services and hosting are currently up and running. We didn't experience any failures during the transition to backup power.

The forecast indicates we will be experiencing high winds until about 5:30 PM PST.

We will continue to monitor the situation until utility power is restored and the storm has passed.

Power in Morton was restored just before 6:00 PM PST. We just switched back to utility power. All services remained uninterrupted during that time.

Power has been restored to the Mossyrock POP which shut down due to the extended power outage. Wireless and dialup service in the that area was disrupted once the backup batteries ran low. At present all services have recovered.

I think the worst of the weather system has passed.
