Google Web Accelerator: Performance Statistics

I have been using Google Web Accelerator http://webaccelerator.google.com/ on my laptop for a week or two. So far I've loaded 2963 pages in 1.7 hours with the accelerator saving me a whole 8.3 minutes. Not exactly the results I hoped for.

Has anyone on dialup seen better results?

Also, oddley enough I can't login to any PHPBB forum while the accelerator is enabled for the site. Anyone else encountered issues?

More weirdness... I cannot download large files when enabled. I'm not sure but it appears to happen with any file over 2 gigs in size. Turn it off and all is well. It actually downloads about 8k of the file and then aborts. Weird.
