SERVICE NOTICE: Upgrading smtp.lewiscounty.com

We will be upgrading our anti-virus/spam server (smtp.lewiscouty.com) tomorrow evening from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Our vendor is performing the software installation and estimates it will take two to three hours. This will affect incoming and outgoing e-mail during the maintenance window.

Customers that use smtp.lewiscounty.com for outbound mail may encounter errors. Webmail and smtpauth.lewiscounty.com will work normally. Expect some delayed mail during the upgrade.

Once the upgrade is completed the new software version will improve performance and effectiveness.

Started the upgrade. Installing the new drives and operating system. Going as planned.

At about 7:00 PM the mail server was brought back online. The new software is working very well. I will be monitoring it throughout the evening to make sure it's all good. Thanks, Randy
