Lewiscounty.com online thermometer
Posted: Tue Apr 05, 2005 12:22 amI have reprogrammed the thermometer on the lewiscounty.com page to be updated every 10 minutes rather than reading the weather data real time. This is because of increased load on the temperature widget which is single threaded. By moving the data to a flat file it allows the webserver to better serve all during high usage times of the day. If 10 minutes isn't reasonable I'm open to suggestions.
