Updated e-mail virus scan engine
Posted: Mon Jul 26, 2004 5:44 pmI just updated the virus scan engine for Amavis E-mail Scanner. This should improve the handling of encrypted zip attachements. From the release notes:
This new version 4.4.3 contains further improvements of scanning
of password encrypted zip files. These newest versions of F-Prot Antivirus for all UNIX based platforms include minor bugfixes that allow the program to more efficiently and effectively handle the most recent variants of
worm executables spreading within password protected ZIP archives.
