SERVICE NOTICE: Fiber upgrade 3/24/2011

Internet connectivity will be interrupted between 12:30 AM and 2:30 AM March, 24th, 2011.
The fiber optic to Seattle is being moved in Spanaway to accommodate a Pierce County road project.
This work will take approximately 2 hours.

I was hoping the cut would happen incrementally... but at exactly 12:30 AM the fiber was cut
I am on site and monitoring the progress.

It's almost 2:00 AM. Still waiting for the work to be completed.

The fiber just came back up... a few minutes ahead of time. I'll be on site for a bit to make sure it stays up.
