Drastic measure in place to curb rolex spam
Posted: Sat Oct 23, 2004 11:22 amOver the past few days I have seen my spam volume increase for one or two spam emails per day to about 20. This is frustrating. 12 of the e-mails this morning were advertising Rolex watches. I can't imagine Rolex, the Swiss watch maker, would allow their vendors to advertise via spam. These spams are most likely advertising FAKE rolex watched. Buyer beware!
Effective this morning I have started rejecting email that contains the word Rolex in the subject. So far this morning the filter has blocked over 240 spam e-mails.
