WAP mail script to access pop3/imap mail from phone
Posted: Thu Mar 30, 2006 2:31 amOk, I've had my "Windows Mobile 5.0" phone for a week now. Hotmail isn't exactly working for me. I want and need to access my mail accounts. Hotmail works but it's not my daily driver. I used Opera 8 for a bit because it supports javascript that IE Mobile lacks to login to my webmail account but it was SLOW. Tonight I decided there must be better a way. What I found was a very simple PHP script that creates a WAP 1.0 interface. Clean and light. Just what I needed. It took about 5 minutes to install.

I can read, delete, and send mail without the full overhead of POP3 on the phone. And best of all it's open source!
